Wacyi Relief and Development Organization is a non-governmental and nonprofitable social organization established in 2024 by a group of like-minded Youths with experiences in different sectors to promote the needs of vulnerable communities in Somalia. WRDO aims on Providing Relief, Development and advocacy for internally displaced persons (IDPS), Refugees and other vulnerable with harsh livelihood obstacles across urban and rural regions. WRDO was invented due to the ongoing humanitarian crises categorically in Galmudug state of Somalia.
A peaceful, equitable, and self-reliant Somalia where all people, including the most vulnerable enjoy their full rights and dignity, have access to essential services and are empowered to lead a healthy, productive and secure lives.
To empower vulnerable populations, including refugees and IDPS by improving access to essential services such as healthcare, education and sustainable livelihoods, while promoting peace, human rights, gender equity and good governance. Through community-driven development, we aim to build resilience enhance food security and reduce dependency.
